If you like Santa Cruz, you'll love this Scotts Valleys BW. Hot tubs, pool, food, big rooms, location; it's got it all! Great staff (thanks Sam); my 32nd night over 8 years.
Beds and breakfast good. Coffee in room poor. Coffee machines need help.
Beds are comfortable and breakfast choices are OK. Coffee machine didn’t work. Coffee in breakfast room needs to be monitored on a regular basis. Breakfast room needs someone there to help customers and keep tabled wiped off. Housekeeping took our bar soap on day one and didn’t replace with a new bar. No ‘do not disturb’ placard in the room. Parking spaces are too narrow for full size cars. When check in staff know customers have a disability they need to advise best route to their room. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was acceptable.

We were surprised that no extra pillows were available and wished we had brought are own. The ones on the bed were very small and soft. The room was a decent size, and it was chosen because the hotel is dog friendly. I found a couple of long human hairs which had been missed but otherwise seemed ok.

We had a very relaxing time. The hotel was between Santa Cruz and Felton. A lot to do in the three areas. The hot tub was very clean and felt great. We will be coming back.
