I was in Glen Rose for a dog show and picked this hotel because I had stayed here several years before without incidence. I chose this hotel because it was it was only a couple minutes away from the show site. I normally do not leave written reviews, but my experience this time truly deserves it so other travelers know what to expect! The employee working the desk was very courteous and was the best part of the stay. Once I was in my room, I noticed the TV wasn't working. The front desk girl said that the cable company was in the process of making some updates and that there probably wouldn't be any cable; she offered me a full refund, but I chose to stay as no TV was not a deal killer and I would be checking out by 7am the next day. Later that evening, as I was brushing my teeth, I noticed a roach in the bathroom sink. Completely grossed out, I managed to mortally wound it with my shoe, proceeded to wash it down the drain, then close the drain (in case it wasn't dead.) Later that night, after I came back in from walking my dog, I saw ANOTHER roach in the sink!! I killed it and washed it down the drain like the first, but this time also noticed that as I was running the water, the faucet fixture had a major leak. I was able to soak up the water on the counter before it spilled onto the floor. At dawn, I left as soon as I got up. They had a breakfast bar, but after seeing 2 roaches, why would I want to eat there?! Will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

When we checked in they were working on the cable TV which never got resolved so we were without television. The frame under the one bed was broken so the bed tilted towards the floor all night long causing a person to fall out of bed because of it. There were several holes in the wall a mirror was attached to the wall with rough cut wooden blocks there were gouges in the sheetrock where the door had been pushed open and never repaired. The seat on the toilet was completely loose so when you sit down on it it moved to the side and pinched unacceptable. When you leave the facility somebody had spilled something in the concrete driveway that look nasty and was left there for at least 2 days even after they were told they had a mess out there. The stuffed chair was positioned by the heater in the corner so I was going to turn it so the air would not blow in my face. That's when I realized there was a leg broken off is a reason they had it stuffed in the corner that way, you could not sit in the chair. We brought these things up with the front desk, but was told to bad these things did not get fixed. No care what-so-ever for the paying customer. They got their money from Expedia. Going forward there needs to be some changes made. I will never stay at another Quality Inn and if Expedia continues to support this facility we will not use Expedia again. I feel my money back is the least you or them could do. I do have pictures of these complaints, it's not just a lip service complain

Cable was down while we stayed. The kids enjoyed the pool. Staff was nice, service was wonderful.

When we checked in we were informed that there was NO television service. The beds were HARD!!! We had to work on the toilet several times to stop the running. Will NEVER stay there again!!
