My husband and I got there and the guy at the desk was rude. We asked specifically for a non-smoking room as I am 6 months pregnant and we walked into the room and it smelled heavily like cigarette smoke. We immediately walked out and told the guy at the front desk and he said that he couldn’t do anything. So we contacted Expedia for a refund. Don’t waste your time or money at this motel.

I used choice points and partial cash payment option to book the room and paid in advance. Upon arrival, the employee asked for my id, then the credit card used to book room. I provided my cards and confirmed that I paid online. Before I exited,.I asked if he charged me again and he said no.
I had a notification from my financial institution that a charge hit my account. I went back to the front desk and the same employee contacted the assistant manager on ground. She came into the office without the decency of a greeting and began to type while looking at the keyboard. She never acknowledged me as the consumer and told they employee that I wasn't charged. I informed her that the charge was evident on my phone. She waved it off and said she couldn't focus on my phone, but only what her computer screen showed. I told her that the money was actually taken out of my account and it showed that money was taken by Econo Lodge. The assistant manager just shrugged her shoulders. The employee told her that he ran my card. She said it didn't show any charges to my card. She told him to print a copy of it. I told her that was pointless to me because could see the deficit in my account. I told her that I didn't appreciate her lack of empathy and concern and she lacked customer service skills. She wouldn't like to be in the same predicament. I didn't have an extra $50 for the hotel. The employee didn't do the check-in correctly. I had to suffer!!! What's the compensation for that spiral?
