Stayed here for a couple nights over Christmas of 2024 while visiting family in my hometown. It's a fine hotel, but definitely feels its age in some ways. I remember it being a bit nicer as the "Goodland," when I believe it was operated by Kimpton. Either way, it suited our needs and was comfortable/clean enough.

Our experience staying at the Leta by Hilton was very pleasant and overall a good experience especially for my toddlers and us. The pool facilities and admin staff was wonderful, the only grouse is we asked Ms. Sakina in the management staff to ask the rooms to be cleaned on two separate occasions during our 5 day stay, and no action was undertaken. We had a wonderful new year celebration and a great Trivia night. Overall thoroughly enjoyable.

We love this little spot. We always travel with our family and dogs, and the Leta is welcoming, convenient, and charming. It has a relaxed, pleasant vibe and way more character than nearby chain hotels. It's a great location for parents and students visiting UCSB as well. The pool is warm and nice. The food is good. It has a nice bar and fire pits. We will be back!
