It was clean.
Very clean, great comfy beds, customer service excellent!
I was surprised at how nice this hotel was! The beds were great with new bedspreads, nice towels and room was very clean. I left my Kindle there and they are shipping it me. Very courteous and helpful especially the gal at the front desk. Thank you for being so great! Nice breakfast with too much variety!

While visiting in the Ankeny Iowa area we were looking for a quiet hotel to stay for the evening and had read that this place would be perfect and we could not agree more. The very solid construction of the building even though it is close to the interstate was extremely helpful. The breakfast selection was extraordinary for this type of hotel and we were very pleased with it as well

Our first room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed. Staff was friendly and this was fixed. We were immediately moved to a different room. The side by the interstate is noisy, so something to be mindful of. The pool area was nice. It appears to have been cleaned up/updated with fresh tile and paint somewhat recently. There were a lot of options available for breakfast. That being said, they could maybe scale back on choices a d focus more on higher quality products. My standards aren't super high for continental breakfast, but the egg "patties" were chewy and my husband said he couldn't eat the sausage.

My room smelled like animal urine. At midnight had to be moved to another room because the smell was making me nauseous. It was right next to the bed.

Check in was smooth and easy. Front desk people were very nice. Hallways smelled like cleaner which isn’t a bad thing. Everything was clean and maintained very well. Beds were nice and soft. Breakfast was great for a hotel breakfast. Only negative was the hot tub was barely warm. We asked about turning it up and got a round about long answer of no. If we are ever back in the area for a sports tournament we will definitely stay here again!!
