Loved the view of the river, how close it was to downtown and lots of day time options for exploring

Pool and hot tub both closed. The only reason I booked this hotel they need to let people know if their facilities are closed!

Our room overlooked the river. It was fun to watch the eagles fly over & dive into the little open water there was available on the river. We were a little disappointed the pool & hot tub were not available during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn, primarily for its cleanliness and convenient walkable location. It was easy to get to downtown for New Year's Eve festivities. Some reviews said the parking garage charge is $15 -- this has now been updated to $20. But there is street parking that is only charged during business hours and free on holidays, so we made good use of that option. The breakfast had a few hot items, so it was better than just continental fare, but we were not that impressed. The eggs and sausage didn't seem like real food, unfortunately. Otherwise, it was a good spot and a lovely stay.

Nice

Our room was nice and clean. King bed was comfortable. The blonde haired woman at the service desk was not very friendly, and she's the first person you see when you walk into the lobby. My husband had an accident in the bathroom and I asked for housekeeping to come clean the floors and toilet at 1pm while we were out. They only took out the trash, and I know this because I purposely left a chunk of hair in the middle of the floor from when I styled my hair for the wedding we were attending. The hot tub was not maintained well. Missing tiles and an off color. We expected a little more. The breakfasts were great, however.

All in all, the hotel is great. In our room, 602, the bedside table lamp needs replaced as the bulbs flicker and one shade was broken. We did report that as we recd a text asking how things were so far. Realized our toilet was stopped up in middle of the night, but didnt have a chance to tell anyone until check out. The shower water wasnt very warm and what was warm, didnt last very long.

The hotel was conveniently located to restaurants and the Civic Center. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was really good… nice variety. Helpful staff and covered parking.

Staff was great! My room 314 was nice with a balcony facing the river. However i woke up with a spider crawling above me on the ceiling.
