The organization responsible for the maintenance of the park, Queen Village K9, sponsors Yappy Hours once a month, partnering with local pet-friendly establishments with outdoor patios where you can meet and mingle with other pet owners and their pooches over a cocktail.

White Dog Café has been doing farm-to-table cooking for 40 years, sourcing its produce from farms within a 50-mile radius of the restaurant. Three Victorian brownstones were opened up and renovated to create the restaurant, which has a whimsical dog theme running through its different dining rooms. It also has a lovely pet-friendly outdoor seating area, and water bowls are provided on request. Some of our favorites on the menu include Yellow Tomato Gazpacho topped with Crab Salad, Avocado BLT, Thai Steak Noodle Salad, and Spicy Lamb Bolognese. Open for lunch Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., dinner Monday through Thursday 5 to 9:30 p.m., Friday & Saturday to 10 p.m., and Sunday to 9 p.m.; brunch, Saturday & Sunday 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In Philadelphia, PA, near one of the hospitals in downtown Philly (South Side) , their is a large water stop for dogs. It is awesome and I think features a Ben Franklin quote (like everything else in Philly!!)
Located in the heart of Fishtown, Cedar Point Bar & Kitchen offers a full service 50-seat restaurant and bar. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the outdoor deck.
This gravel-lined off-leash park feature tree stumps for pups to jump up on and play, as well as benches.
Pet friendly patio
This is a members-only off-leash park in West Philadelphia, with a waiting list and an annual fee of $115. The park is a combination of dirt and grass and also includes a doggy pool for cooling down.
Conveniently located at the corner of 24th Street and Fairmount Avenue, The Bishop's Collar features outdoor dining in the summer and plenty of free street parking all year round. Dogs are welcome at the outside tables.
This seasonal beer garden is open from the beginning of May to the last Saturday of September. It offers beers on tap as well as in cans, and a selection of small (but tasty) plates and snacks that include Pulled Duck Sliders with Pilsner-Plum Sauce, Wurst of the Day, Chips & Guac, Warm Bavarian Pretzels, and BBQ Tofu Summer Rolls with Peanut Hoisin Sauce. They are super pet friendly, encouraging folks to bring their dogs to Yappy Hour. Water bowls available upon request.
