Kayak rentals on Town Lake. They have a monthly event: "Best Friend Pooch Paddle - $20.00 per person; dogs paddle free. Spend the afternoon with your dog paddling Town Lake and connecting with other kayak and dog lovers. Come learn the basics of how to safely kayak with your "best friend". We provide rental of the kayak and equipment. All ages and abilities are welcome. Bring a rubber-backed rug for your dog for the event." These folks are very friendly and helpful! For the Pooch Paddle, they guide you as you paddle down the lake to a dog friendly park, disembark and let the dogs run and play, then paddle back to the rowing center. It's a great experience.
All of the Ginger Man pubs are dog-friendly. Patrons at the Houston and Dallas pubs love the blended beers that the bartenders create. Some of the pubs have regular live music that is enjoyed, while patrons at others prefer to be left alone to talk. The buy-a-beer, keep the glassÓ nights are popular at all the pubs. Each of the pubs has their own charities they choose to support through special events. The Austin pub has trunk showsÓ where local artists bring in their creations to sell.

Each trailer features a unique kidsÕ menu and several food options. No alcohol is served, but it is BYOB, so adults can bring a cooler with drinks to enjoy while listening to live music.
