Plenty of room for you and your pet to romp to your hearts' delight.

Beyond containing the most densely populated city (New York) in the US (8,622,698 people living within 302.6 square miles) it also offers plenty of wild and varied landscapes including the fabulous beaches of Long Island, especially those directly on the Atlantic Ocean on the Island's south shore, the majestic Hudson River Valley, and the lakes and mountains of the Adirondacks and Catskills. It also borders on two Great Lakes, Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome at the Golden Arrow but we ask that anyone traveling with their furry friends be respectful of other guests sharing the resort with you. Not everyone loves dogs, and no one loves to listen to a barking dog or step in one of their “accidents”. To allow our resort to be pet friendly but also respect those guests who don’t bring pets the following rules apply. ALL PETS INCURE A $150 FEE PER PET, PER STAY. This fee covers you for up to a 7-night stay. If you stay longer than seven nights, an additional $150 charge will apply. Emotional support dogs are not considered service dogs by the ADA and must abide by these rules. PETS CAN NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE ROOM AT ANY TIME. If we discover a pet left alone in the room, an additional $100 fee per incident will be charged to your account. If you plan to bring your pet on vacation, plan the type of vacation in which your pet can participate. If an emergency necessitates a pet being left in their room alone, you must crate the animal, come to the front desk to let us know where you are going, and leave a contact number for us to reach you. We reserve the right to refuse daily housekeeping to rooms where a pet is left loose. PLEASE ALWAYS KEEP DOGS ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEM. It is not our team’s job to clean up your pet’s messes. We have doggie bags available for you at the front desk. Please use them. In summer, PETS ARE NOT PERMITED TO SWIM IN THE SANDY BEACH AREA. Keep your animal on a leash at all times. Pets are permitted in the grassy area if they are with their owner and are leashed. Anyone’s pet found running around wet or unleashed on the beach will be asked to place your pet in a local kennel or to check out. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL OR GYM AREAS. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN GENERATIONS RESTAURANT. IF AN UNREGISTERED PET IS FOUND IN A ROOM, A $300 FINE WILL BE ISSUED. Pets are restricted to Deluxe Rooms located on the 3rd floor. We do this to assure guests with pet allergies that no animal has been in any Suite or Specialty Room or any room on a floor besides the 3rd. Should there be any property damage, “accidents,” noise complaints, or disobedience of our leash law, an additional $100 per incident will be charged to your account. Should your pet seriously damage an item on our property, you will be charged the total replacement value. Chronic disturbance issues may result in requiring you to take your pet(s) to a local kennel or be asked to check out.
