A Gracious Step Back In Time
It can't be easy to run a grand hotel in Parkersburg, but The Blennerhasset Hotel seems to have the dedicated people to do it. The Junior Suite I booked had wow factor: spacious, a great bathroom (with huge shower) and comfortable king sized bed. Free continental breakfast in the morning. At dinner, the waiter was knowlegeable and enthusiastic and the chef came out to visit and see how we enjoyed the special. My wife is telling me we must book again!
Lovely Experience on the Ohio River!
Easy to find on the Ohio River (not on the island), really good food/dinner and nice patio space outside with an added bonus of live Bluegrass music beginning at 6:30pm. We'd been traveling and found the Blennerhassett a perfect way to end the day. We'll go back again when we're in the area and we highly recommend it.

The history of the hotel is awesome and the hotel is very beautiful. I've stayed here twice and had two different rooms and each one was very well decorated and maintained. I would stay again.

A comfortable stay in an historic hotel. We especially enjoyed the bar and the patio. It was fun to tour the hotel and hear of it's history.
