We stayed in an executive king suite for 2 days the water was rust brown the first night then a golden brown the second night, we called and so planned. We were told to just run the water. Just run the water ….. lol we ran it for over 80 minutes. Overall we were bummed but we will never stay here again. Very dirty

I was shocked to find out you had to pay for wifi. I can’t remember the last time I stayed at a hotel and it didn’t offer free wifi.

Unfortunately this stay could have easily gained a 5 star experience but my initial encounter made the visit lackluster. I typically am NOT a reviewer but the experience forced to pen this note. I was checked in by a very curt and inexperienced attendant. She didn’t greet me or seem to want to help with me missing my first night there. She simply just asked me to present my ID and put my credit card into the reader. No “we will try to get a discount off on your missed night” or “let me place a note for my management”; she simply asked me to insert my card without even telling me how much I was being charged and asked how many cards would I like. She was lacking a professional demeanor and unkind while painting a negative picture of us Detroiters being cold and stoic. In fact this is how she was. It ruined the trip and the initial experience especially for a stay at a luxury hotel. Training is indefinitely needed in the customer service department for the Hotel Team. As a native Detroiter, I hope no one experiences this as it makes us look bad.
