Starting to show signs of aging.
We have been coming here for many many years because it is near family when we come to visit. The hotel is starting to show signs of aging. Needs a freshening up but is very comfortable for a short stay.
Friendly staff, stray cats.
We paid a lot for the two night we stayed at the Quality Inn for a Penn State football Weekend. It's right off 80 and very easy to get to. The room was clean enough and possibly recently renovated. However, the outlet in the bathroom did not work so the hairdryer didn't work. We pushed all the reset buttons, unplugged the hair dryer, all that. We even tried plugging something else in to the outlet. Nothing. There was only one bar of soap provided. We had to share it for showering and washing our hands. Shampoo, conditioner and lotion were provided. The wife wasn't too happy about that since she didn't bring one. The breakfast was a typical Quality Inn breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful more so than a lot of hotels I have stayed in. We got back around 7:30 Saturday night and all of a sudden were surrounded by about 10 cats and kittens. They didn't bother us as they were a little skittish. I went back out to the car about 10 minutes later and they were all eating off paper plates the someone had put out for them in the middle of the parking lot. I'm not a cat person but it was tough to see. Lastly, there was a cigarette butt can right outside the door so the hall would smell like smoke anytime someone came in from smoking.
Staff was very attentive.
Facility was average. Staff was excellent.

We stayed here after a PSU football game because we had graduation the next day. It was clean and comfortable and the check in staff were very friendly. There is a good place to eat right next door. My only complaint is the water pressure was very low (which seems normal in an older hotel) and there was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower… they were completely empty. I would stay here again.

Shortly after arrival, I notified the dest of a hole above the bathtub. The tiles by the nozzle had been repaired. They were uneven. My wife turned on the bathroom sink. The nozzle came off. I notified the desk around 8:30pm. The response was the maintenance person would not be in until 5:30am. That makes no sense to me in a hotel/motel. Most customers need service at night - not after they leave. At 6:30am I went to the desk. The desk attendant said, "Oh yeah", and informed the maintenance man in front of me. He was sitting there scrolling through his phone. He did not address me. He came about 20 minutes later. ( The water ran all night long.). He said he turned off the water from outside. I thought he meant the sink. He turned off the water to the entire bathroom. He was not clear to me. He was also dressed in pro-Trump clothing. Anyone who works for or at the hotel/motel should be in uniform without making the customers aware of their political views. The repair was made after we left. The night staff was unprepared to deal with a routine repair. They did offer to move us to another room. We were already unpacked and in bed by that time. I would never go back to that Quality Inn again.

The only issue was the bed squeeked every time I moved! Room 221 bed should be looked at. Outside in the back there are flashing lights which are awful if you get a room on that side of building which I have in the past.

Rooms need a good renovating. Stayed here multiple times and the price is right. It is clean, just needs some updating/good coat of paint would go a long way. But it is well worth the money.

For a quick night on our way to Cleveland, this hotel couldn't have been perfect. Plus, they welcomed our Min Pin. Thank you.
