You definitely get what you pay for. Was looking for a place and not dishing out a ton of money and going for the cheaper property was not worth it. First room we got reeked heavily of cigarette smoke which is something since its a non-smoking place. Staff was amazing and we switched rooms no problem. Second room didnt smell thankfully. The place needs a major overhaul however. Broken lightswitch covers, sink barely drained after filling up quickly, stains all over the walls, not great. Had lamps that didnt work, one didn't even have a lightbulb in it or be plugged in. Had to unscrew the bulb from a lamp to turn it off. It served its purpose as a place to sleep but we ended up paying for another hotel for our second night. Im sure the place could be lovely but desperately needs updated and cleaned up.

Property was extremely run down & dirty. There were people walking around lingering staring at us unpacking our vehicle. Felt uncomfortable. We got in room was dirty & smelled, TV didn’t work, staff said would have it looked at, 1/12 hours later we told them to forget it. Get up to take showers & water didn’t work & looked liked it hadn’t worked for a long time! Would never stay in a place like that again! Worst place ever!

It was not explained to me that when I showed up to the property there would be a 100.00 dollar "cash only" deposit. Meaning that a debit card which is normally accepted by most vendors for services involving cash would not be accepted. So I paid for the room, tried to check jn, the lady behind the counter would not let me check in wven though I had my ID and debit card in my hand. I just left this hotel in an effort to resolve this matter without diaputomg charges. Not only was the lady behind the counter not wven mildly interested in resolving this issue, she rudely.dismissed.me as if I made some kind of mistake and it was my fault that their system cant process a cash payment like most systems. Horrible!!!!

Cheap, good connection to the green line tram and access to Mexican food. But the service and condition was poor. We were unexpectedly asked for 100 dollars in cash for security deposit on arrival, rooms were clean but in poor upkeep. Multiple lights, plug sockets etc didn’t work.

Staff were nice but the property looks nothing like the pictures!!! Very old and unkept. People loitering in the parking lot. Did not feel very safe in this area of town.

Oh, it was terrible experience. I arrived 8:30 pm but there was no staff in the office. I was waiting for the staff. 15 minutes. There were one homeless at the entrance and another suspicious guy in the parking. The manager was not in site. The staff called and asked the manager about room. I had a reservation for two beds but they had only one bed room left. I strongly suggest that do NOT stay in the hotel.

They have a mandatory $100 CASH deposit, tried to tell me that hotels.com card had been declined. When i finally got in the room, they door lock was broken. During the night, i found bedbugs and ants while i was trying to sleep. They only had decaffeinated coffee in the room. They didn't clean the room while i was staying for multiple days. The sink had a huge crack, the electrical cord on the air conditioner was taped together. The coffee maker was broken. The tv remotes had dead batteries. Thwre arw a lot of homeless people hanging out in the parking lot, it did not feel safe. I would never recommend this hotel, not even to my enemy.

Our bathroom was unclean when we check in- pee in the seat and hair all over the floor. Then we woke up to bed bugs. Ended our stay immediately

The rest of the neighborhood is in the midst of gentrification. This property was scary--we took everything out of the car so nothing would tempt anyone. I was happiest when we left the property to go visit friends. It started with a mandatory $100 cash deposit, with a handy ATM machine in the lobby. Luckily, I barely had 5 x $20 bills. They did refund it when I checked out at 6am, but I had to ring a bell for the overnight clerk. With 102 degrees temp, the A/C barely worked and was very noisy. I didn't sleep a minute. My son I should stay away from anything with Econo in the name...
