It takes a lot for me to complain about a property. While the bed and sheets were clean. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower head was caked in what seemed to be black mold. Enough that it was causing an issue with the water actually spraying out of the shower head uniformly. The shower door, lip and floor around the shower also had black mold growth. Overall the hotel was just dingy. The common areas had multiple stains on the carpets. Large amounts of built up dust and dirt in the corners and baseboards ect. Other issues not as pressing as the cleanliness were missing fixtures, broken window locks, holes in the wall paper, no sink stopper/plug.
I travel often for the business I own and often only use hotels to shower and sleep before I'm off again so I don't tend to book high end hotel while traveling, but I always check out the rating and was very surprised to find these issues with a hotel rated over 7.

Check in staff was great on Wednesday because we had car trouble and they told u no problem get here safely. Everything changed the next day when we were gone all day and came back to dirty towels we used that morning still on the floor. The check in told us they only clean the rooms every 3 days. He did provide us with new towels. Said he would make sure the next day they take care of room. Friday morning we go to check in to see if there was a possibility of changing rooms due to my daughter wanted to stay the night but was told because I booked thru a 3rd party they couldn’t help even know I said I would pay the difference before being told no. Gone all day Friday and once again our room was left untouched. No clean towels nothing. Go to check in and told that yeah you checked in Wednesday and they only come in if
1) we requested it, which we did the night before
2) it’s been more then 3 days
I would highly suggest going to a different hotel and not stay at this one.

Mattresses were stained. Bathrooms had a sliding wooden door that didn’t even work. If more than one person was in the room you couldn’t use the bathroom. The side door to the hotel was just open so anybody could walk in. Carpets needed replacing bad. Rooms smelt musty. The fridge froze my food which wrecked it. Breakfast was good and staff was wonderful. Location was good.

First room t.v did not work, I booked a double got placed into a single. Staff tried to fix was unsuccessful. Night clerk said they would change me into a double with a work t.v the next day I was rudely told they don’t have any doubles. They young lad seemed stressed out and over worked. Well the maintenance man was sent fix t. V issue he was unsuccessful. The next day my room was switch. This room the toilet did not plus a saw a brown spider in the restroom. They had made a web by the bathroom light. Then I was switched to a two bedroom suite I must say it was much better. Can truly say the manager tried her best to make the stay right. She was kind, friendly and understanding. The staff on the other hand was very unknowledgable, could even come off as rude. The morning lady Michelle could definitely use som training with her interpersonal skills. All in all I must say a very mediocre place with a manger that has potential to be great. I think her boss should come spend time teaching and coaching her on how to motivate and train and good staff. I almost did not write the review bc of her effort but on the other hand I think she could run a great property with a few minor adjustments. Michelle needs to be retrained Cindy was grest
