hall carpets are filthy. stayed here last year and made the comment to the front desk. we were told they were being replaced shortly. A year later; same dirty spots. Floor in elevator (tile) badly stained and dirty. Breakfast was subpar; no yogurt, no flavored creamer for coffee, no eggs. no milk cartons for cereal. very disappointing.

Good location, but beds are too soft, and the elevator sounds and feels like it will break any minute.

We arrived after a 12+ hour drive to get some rest. I booked it online and chose it because it was one of the only hotels in the area that allowed pets without huge fees. My husband and I were traveling with our cat and a loaded down truck with some valuables that we planned on taking into the room with us. When I got to the front desk to check-in, I was told that the elevator wasn’t working so we would have to use the stairs (ugh). I asked if we could get a first floor room but apparently they were all booked. The front desk clerk was nice and changed us from the 3rd floor to the 2nd, at least. However, we had reserved a room with a king size bed and had to switch to two full size beds. When we finally got to the room, we were further disappointed. The door didn’t close on its own and we had to make sure it was pushed shut so our cat wouldn’t get out. Not to mention it’s a pain when you’re bringing arms full of stuff into the room. The room itself wasn’t bad. Typical hotel room with carpet. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner. There was dirt build up on the baseboards and in the corners. During the night, we could hear the door slamming shut from the stairwell that everyone was using due to the broken elevator. It was just a bit disappointing after a long day of traveling.

Booked this room as a mid-way stop between the beach and home. Arrived and checked in around 11:30, but had to go back to the desk after attempting to get settled. The whole building is gross- the photos shown are definitely not taken at this location. Stained carpets, strange residue on the walls and doors, weird clunking in the elevator makes you unsure if you'll make it to the next floor. The drop-ceiling was dingy (photos don't even show a drop-ceiling.)
All of these common areas made us feel a little unnerved, but our room worse. There was a fishy smell that made us all cover our noses and actually made one of my kids gag. The blankets were damp and a little musty smelling. When I tried to pull out the sleeper sofa, it was broken and rested at an angle that would have made sleeping on it impossible. Even with all of that, we were so tired, I began to drag the mattress off the frame to set something up on the floor...when I realized the mattress was wet with who knows what- urine? fish oil? I didn't get close enough to smell it, but it had soaked through the mattress and puddled/ smeared underneath. It was disgusting.
Once back at the desk, we overheard another woman who had checked in right before us who was also asking for a refund because her room was also too gross to sleep in. They had no more rooms available, did not offer to clean anything, and told us they couldn't process a refund because of booking through hotels.com. It took us 2 hours to find another hotel.
