There were not a lot of hotels/motels in the are. We thought the Red Roof Inn would be okay after looking at the pictures.Found ROACHES and paid a TOTAL OF $180.
The bed was fairly comfortable and the sheets were soft.The front desk seemed nice. Those are my only positive about the motel.
On first inspection of the room seemed okay, but a bit run down. Needed to paint the wall near the bed. Used to be a mounted tv on the wall as you can see in the motels pictures but had a little tv on the dresser. A half of gallon of unopened almond milk was sitting on the dresser/refrigerator. Obviously it had been sitting out awhile because the container was swollen. You had to slam the door because otherwise it wouldn't shut. The paint is chipped because of the door alignment.there was nothing covering the mattress. Just the sheet. The floors were not cleaned. Most important there were baby roaches in the room. Before i went to bed I thought a saw a small but then when i looked again i couldn't find it. When i got out at 4am they were in the bathroom/ tub. I should've gone to the front desk when i left at 5am to ask for a refund but I was so upset I left. We paid $160 plus taxes was $180. Totally not worth it. I would upload pictures but it doesn't seem to be working.

The property itself is very, very old, but you can see they have done a job upgrading - new toilet, new furniture, new spigots, new drapes and shower curtain, comfortable bed linen, led lights that ALL work, good tv and reception, handy location …. The bad??? King sized handicapped bed that is broken, sunk down, like sleeping on a broken box springs. Night manager was willing to swap rooms, for me and stated she knew this bed was sunken in when she rented it to me - but I was weary and already in my pjs when I sat down on it and literally rolled back to the headboard. I could not keep in one spot. Vinyl tab and tile floors keeps the mildew and dirt to a minimum, so that was a plus. I’d stay here again, but definitely not in room 213 until they replace this broken a$$ mattress.

Typical low rate hotel. Some roaches in the room. The floor was not clean. And nats were flying around inside. No amenities. Garbage bin outside the room was filled to the brim for two days.

Dirty floor and dirty bedspread; very clean bathroom very important. No one at desk at checkout. 10:35 rang bell; waited 1 minute and rang again; rang the bell twice the third time and finally just laid the cards on the desk

I booked a room earlier in the week and then booked a second room 2 hours before my arrival. I arrived 90 minutes after check-in and the room I had originally booked was not ready. I was told it would be another 90 min before that room would be ready however the second room I booked was ready... the second room was a smoking room but all they had left or so I was told. There was literally ash on the bedspread and floor in several places. Also noted there were obviously several unused rooms so clearly lack of staff to operate at full capacity not a lack of rooms. Rooms in disrepair. Curtains falling off the tracks, tub faucet loose and coming out of the shower wall, bathroom door would not close, chipped paint everywhere. Also not disclosed anywhere that I saw, a TRAIN runs 20-40 feet away so of course the whistle blows throughout the night. Thankfully we had extra blankets in the car to cover the beds but very little rest.

I am a travel nurse, and needed a last minute room in the area. Due to being unfamiliar with the area, I took past reviews into consideration and property overall rating. One arrival, staff was very nice. No issues there. However, on initial check in I was placed in a room that had not been cleaned after previous occupant. Staff was super helpful in getting me another room and “upgrading”. In the second room, there was mild/mildew stains on the bedding, a pair of socks discarded behind the bed, stains (assumed to be body fluids) covering the bedding, and rooms condition was overall unclean. I was in the room for a total of 30 minutes (if that) before I left and decided I didn’t feel comfortable staying in those conditions. I have contacted the property, requested a refund or even partial refund. No response. I have taken pictures of the biggest issues in the room I was placed and unsure if there’s a place to share these or not. I would not recommend this particular property.

The front desk personal was very friendly. The room was dirty, the sheets had holes in them and the cover had some foreign matter on it, mold around the tub, unpainted doors with dirt on them etc..
