Clean, comfortable and welcoming.
This was a last minute reservation in an emergency situation. We had been turned away by another hotel in the area and were in serious need of a place to stay. The front desk person at the Fireside Inn was wonderful. She checked us in efficiently and made us feel welcome. The hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet; just what I needed before early morning surgery at a nearby hospital. Thank you!
Not worth the price.
Old furniture, bathroom door was delaminated, no tables for breakfast and very limited. We ended up eating nextdoor. Never again.

All of the staff were kindly accommodating. I am using a walker temporarily, and the maids delivered the breakfast from the lobby to my room my room every morning, with toasted bagels and all the extras.I extended my stay because I am waiting for the closing for a house that I am buying in Waterville, and would stay longer, but all rooms are booked ahead because repair crews are staying here following a major power outage nearby. The staff at the attached Governor's Restaurant have also treated me like family. My extended family has used both properties for years; this is the first time that I have been a Fireside Inn guest... and I'm a forever fan!!!.

The service was very prompt, competent, and friendly. The room was clean and well equipped. The property is older and while the bathroom was recently renovated, it's clear that the building could use some general TLC. The location is convenient (off the interstate highway) but in a strip mall, convenient for driving into town and to Colby but does require getting in and out of a busy mall road.

Stayed one night, older property but extremely well maintained and clean. Staff were friendly and location was great. Beds extremely comfortable, extra pillows and blanket in the room be which is a bonus.

We would come back! We had really loud neighbors but that is nothing that the hotel can do about it.
