My stay was much less than pleasant. The toilet didn't flush well, the tub/shower drain couldn't keep up with the flow from the shower, there was no soap or shampoo in dispensers in shower, and the refrigerator was disgustingly dirty, the coffee maker didn't work and leaked all the water out. There were only 2 channels on the TV. The walls had badly matched paint touch-ups, the heater worked a little too well. It was set at 70 degrees when I walked in, felt more like 80. I turned it down to 61,(as low as it would go), and still had to open the window at 2:00am because the room was too warm to sleep.
The one good thing I can say is upon entering the room, as always, I checked for signs of bedbugs and did not see any.

TV didn’t work. Room was dark as lamp for desk was missing. Heat for room was either on high or nothing. Soap dispensers were all empty. Coffee maker outlet was lamp outlet so had to have switch on for coffee. Coffee maker and juice dispenser were labeled ‘not working’ in breakfast area. Biscuit & gravy was more like biscuit & wallpaper paste. Pop machine ‘out-of-order’.
Hot water for shower was about 5 mins - tops.
I cab safely say “won’t return”

It was dirty, noisy and the room reeked of smoke. Changed rooms and the next one was just as bad. Saw two cockroaches, the place is disgusting!

When I checked in, the lady at the front desk said two words to me. I had done the check in process online, and really wish I didn’t. I wasn’t aware at the time, but she added an extra charge on my card that was over $100. I noticed it the next morning but thought maybe it was an “incidental” charge that wouldn’t process. I only chose to stay at this property after I had checked in because I was going to be coming and going, but knew I wouldn’t be there long, just to sleep for a few hours. This property should be torn down. The carpets are stained, the stench is horrible, there are cockroaches, I checked for bedbugs because that was my initial concern, but didn’t find any. There is no security to the building. Anyone can walk in the back door. I’m not a confrontational person, and just decided to get my things and leave instead of staying the entire time because it was that bad. Didn’t raise a fuss or ask for my money back since I looked and saw many other of the same complaints and obviously nothing has been done. When I got there late to get my things, I had to wait at the front desk forever because my keys weren’t working. The person told me that the door sometimes “dies” and doesn’t accept the keys, so they would have to let me in. Had I known I was going to be charged on top of what I paid when I booked, I would’ve been more confrontational. The property won’t get back to me or answer calls from Hotels.com. This is not a sanitary place to stay.
