Super 8 Motel - Wheeling

Barely Adequate
Internet did not work. TV had no satelite signal. Safe was closed/locked and no way to get into it. Location is close to highway with lots of loud vehicles at night and other noise.
Very pleased….just took a bit to check in….
Possibly a few more options for breakfast!

Almost didn't stay here due to three friends that told me the desk clerk was verbally abusive. I thought I would have no problems but sure enough I have never felt so insulted in my life and I'm a public school teacher. Will tell all of my friends and family to avoid this place like the plague. Other than being mistreated by her the hotel was wonderful.
This super 8 is super.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable bathrooms are spacious deep tub and the most important thing is a shower heads are and mountains very tall. I’m 6’7”. Don’t normally get to take a decent shower on the road furniture is dated but again very comfortable.

It did smell like cigarettes in the halls as we walked in but crazy enough our room didn’t. We had the hot tub room! Very cozy and clean with new mattress and the best pillows.

My family has stayed numerous times at the Elm Grove, Wva Super 8. It is clean and comfortable. The rates through Expedia for Super 8 are fantastic. We are on the go all day when in Wheeling to visit family, we just use the room to sleep. I cannot justify paying $100 more per night to stay at a nicer hotel such as Hampton Inn. I recommend Elm Grove, Wva Super 8 for great rates and comfortable stay.

There is some kind of smoke smell . Bed sheets dirty. Furniture chairs are dirty.On morning break no egg , no juice for kids . It’s only waffle and bread.
