I was glad I could take my dogs. The room itself was very clean. I will for sure use a Ramada again.

Clean hotel in a good location.

When I was attempting to make my reservation, I went online to find the phone number for the hotel. Along with the website for the hotel, the next thing listed was “phone number for Ramada Inn Statesville”, which I thought was an easier way to contact the hotel. The person who answered my call said it was the reservation line for Ramada Inn Statesville. I asked if a room for two people was available for that evening. He said he had one room left and it was ADA accessible. I asked the price and was quoted $161.00. It sounded like a high price, but I took it as we were on the road and our destination was Statesville. It turned out that I wasn’t speaking with the hotel, but a reservation company! Upon arrival at the hotel, I asked if there were more rooms available and was told they had many. I asked the price and was quoted $120.00. So beware! Always ask if you’re speaking with the hotel when making a reservation. When I showed my displeasure, the lady at the front desk said that “those companies charge for a commission”. As if it wasn’t bad enough we paid $40 more for the room, it was terrible! Located under a set of stairs, on the first floor (along with any pet owners) and VERY much outdated! We were exhausted and went to bed around 9 o’clock, only to be awakened a half hour later by a dog that barked constantly for two hours! The owners have left him alone and couldn’t be reached by the hotel. One of our worst hotel experiences ever. We’ll never go back there! Save your money.

Excellent Breakfast!

It was very nice but the bathroom. Toilet paper needed to be better, there definitely needs to be larger soap conditioner and lotion bottles. The left hot water handle was very loose and the commode wasn't attached to the floor and if you went over to one side it came up with you.

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok,not much to choose from but it was ok. Overall would stay here again.

The room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Security was good; it was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was okay.
