I saw bad reviews for this property. My experience was excellent! Clerk was friendly and efficient, bed was comfortable, property was neat and groomed, parking was plentiful and efficient, and the vending machines worked! A winner in my book.

Room 151 was unfit for use. Upon arrival I walked into the bathroom to find a puddle on the floor. Obviously someone was aware as they had tried to use a filthy towel to soak it up. Just a shrug and Sorry was the response. Especially irritating since they inflate the rate on game weekends at UIUC.

If you like sleeping on 1980 mattresses where the springs are compressed on one side, this is the hotel for you. Pillows were well worn and flat, I didn’t have the courage to uncover them. Room rug looked like you’re walking in the garden. Brown with stains all over. Super shady person hanging out in breezeway. Soap, if that’s what it was, was about the size of a quarter, no sudds. Had a rough night, didn’t sleep well, should’ve slept in the car .

Floor and covers were dirty

This was a terrible motel. The room was tiny and nothing like the pictures on the site. The room #140 we were given allowed lights from the exit ramp to shine into the room. Upon entry, I noticed the floor was warped and several areas of the vinyl plank flooring was chipped and damaged. I looked into the bathroom to find mold along the caulk lines and mold on the foor of the tub. I turned on the unit AC control and it smelled like mildew. I then inspected the bed. The linens on the bed were dirty and the pillows were sweat stained. The pillows were only 18"x18" x 4 pillows. The bedcover had multiple snags and looked beat up. I then got suspicious about bedbugs. So, in one corner of the bed I peelled back the matress cover to discover there were five layers of covers with one being waterproof. The corner had a darker dirty look which is a telltale sign of bedbugs. We immediately left and we to the front desk and turned in our key. We choose to drive four hours late at night to get home and skip our tour of the university rather than stay and risk and bedbug infestation.

The room smelled absolutely terrible, I felt like I couldn't breathe. Did not end up staying the night.
