The most important thing I take into consideration when staying at a motel/hotel is safety and I felt safe at the Motel 6 Convention Center. One light fixture didn't work but it didn't affect us at all. The only inconvenience was that when we checked in at 8:00pm, the lobby was closed so we had to check in by using a window at the side of the building.

They wouldn’t skew my family off 5 to stay in the room together. My 3 small children were expected to be separated because of a”new policy” about room occupancy

I was passing through Bakersfield and just looking for a safe place to lie my head for the evening. As a single female traveling alone, I should’ve done a little bit more research on this place.
Although the nighttime clerk was very very helpful. The bed was absolutely horrible. You could feel every single spring. When I finally fall asleep after hours of tossing attorney, I was awoken by someone outside my window at 1 o’clock in the morning calling to their dog to come back inside their room. I would never stay here again would not recommend it to any travelers
