James at the front desk made me feel safe and welcomed—he helped with travel route knowledge. Two other front desk staff were also nice but I do not know their names. Mary, who serviced my room with fresh towels is so kind and helpful. These employees are great asset to the hotel!

I tried to book a night and the site screwed up the dates. I went through booking .com and got the right one reserved. Then the desk guy at Denison called me and reassured me about the correct date

The first night was good. The room was on the 1st floor and very clean.
The second night I was on the second floor in room 208. I could smell mold as I approached the room. Then I could really smell it when I opened it. It was very warm in the room and I could see that the thermostat was not working like the one did on the first floor. I went to the front desk to let the host know about the smell and the AC not working. I do not think he understood what I was saying about mold, but he showed he how to turn on the AC unit without the thermostat. It seemed that the smeill dissappated as it got cooler in the room.

Staff was great. My TV didn't work so that took a long time out of what I wanted to be a relaxing evening but that wasnt the staffs fault.
I was eventually moved to another room which was in the 3rd floor and much better.
I am a woman traveling with my dogs and the hallways were a little awkward feeling. They aren't very soundproof and you could hear quite a few noises I wouldn't want a kid to hear as you walked down the hall. I didn't know if it was TVs or people but seemed very active for 5 PM. Once I found the door to outside on my end instead of having to walk the halls, all was good.

Affordable and clean. One of the better Motel 6s I've ever seen. Geared to business Travelers it seems. Perfect if you just need a room for the night and aren't interested in extra amenities. It did have a fridge and microwave, the bed was quite comfortable. Nothing seems sketchy about it, staff was very friendly and accommodating.
