Was average.... Until we saw the roaches!

Can one and bugs

I know it’s Motel 6 and I shouldn’t be expecting a great place but I didn’t like the bathroom because it was stained with something . The mattress was very uncomfortable and lumpy. I told my wife no more Motel 6 in the future.

As we were walking to to room, we noticed to men standing at the back of the parking lot wearing masks. As we got to the room, they asked us if we wanted some weed or cocain . we told them no thanks and went inside. Once inside, we imediately noticed that the room was very small and the floors were very sticky. I walked to the bathroom and imediately noticed that the toilet paper holder was ripped out of the wall and was barely hanging on. I touched it and it fell to the floor. As I left the bathroom, I noticed a dozen or more dents in the back of the front door like someone had hit it with a hammer or something. There was a smell in the room, so we started questioning the sanitation and cleanlyness of the room. My wife asked me if we could leave, so I left to head to the front office. As I walked out, the two men were still there showing eachother their guns. I told the front desk what I saw and asked here to cancel my reservation. She tried, but was unable to do it. I went back to the room and my wife said she doesn't feel safe, so we grabbed our bags and left. Her safety was my only concern. I contacted corporate the next morning to try to get a refund. Hopefully, they give it to me.

I grew up around here. Motel 6 has always been a draw for less than desirable clientele. That’s hardly their fault, though. Be warned, it is in a busy area, and there are homeless people wandering around the property. Just keep your wits about you, especially if you’re walking everywhere. Aside from that, the rooms are clean, the staff is more than attentive, and if you’re just looking for a cheap place to crash while you’re in town, you can’t do better.
