Elevators were not working most of the time, great chance that if you switch from a premium room to standard, you will not receive refund promised for chnge of accomodation, the coffee is right in the front each morning but people are leaning on that table on their phones, the staff is wonderful and friendly and willing to do what they can, check in staff did a wonderful job, she was very friendly and professional

We did not stay with you! We had reservations with confirmation numbers that were made on the prior Monday. When we arrived to check in we were told there was only 1 reservation for 1 room. You were shown the confirmations. The response we got was that one of the reservations had been cancelled because the room was not available. I never received any notice of cancellation from either Expedia or Motel 6. We were told we could not have the 2nd room because the motel was completely booked. Therefore, we were left scrambling to find another place to stay on short notice. We were in the area to attend our son's funeral service. Needless to say, you made a bad situation almost unbearable. We will NEVER recommend your property to anyone!!

We did not stay with you!. We booked 2 rooms, and I have the confirmations. When we arrived you only had 1 room for us. You told us one of the rooms had been cancelled because it wasn't available - even though the reservations had been made the previous Monday and I had confirmation numbers. I NEVER received any kind of cancellation notice from Expedia or Motel 6!! You would not give us the second room because you said you were completely booked. Therefore, we did not stay with you at all. We were in the area to attend our son's funeral service. You made a bad situation even worse because someone cancelled one of our rooms. We will not EVER recommend you to anyone.

We did not get the room type we booked, because they overbooked the hotel. The front desk guy was nice enough to put us back in a 2 bed, but did not have the amenities we paid for. That was the only complaint. Otherwise nice hotel in good location.

There was a massive noise issue at 4am when a woman was being kicked out of the hotel. I understand this was not the hotel's fault and they were handling the situation. So, I gave a couple stars back for that. However, not having blankets on the beds and then being told that they don't have any to give me is low star quality. While they did give a couple more thin sheets to use, how does a hotel not have enough blankets for their beds? I paid for a safe place to comfortably sleep.... And instead, I wish I had just made the 3 hour drive home after 11 hours at Carowinds. I would have gotten better rest and saved money.
