It was out of the way of the main downtown areas (squarely in between Monterey and Santa Cruz), but still close enough to drive to either in 20 or so minutes. Perfect if you want to experience the bustling cities without all the clutter. There was even a cinema next door if you just wanted to catch a movie to decompress.
The rooms were clean and the staff very kind.

Both ice machines were out of order, the phone didn't work, had to call the front desk on my cell phn, the TV remote went to a different TV. I took no photos, already wasted a $100 wasn't gonna waste my time aswell

I booked this motel because it was the only one in the area that Expedia didn’t show a deposit was required for but when I checked in, I was surprised with a $150 required deposit. The walls were dirty, especially in the bathroom where it looked like spots of blood and other mystery bio drips. I would not stay here again.

I was expecting much worse for a motel but it was actually pretty decent. The only problem I had was the toilet seat was broken and no one ever came to fix it and I was there for four days.
