Our stay was okay here. The place is a bit outdated and the sofa had some wear and tear to it. I was woken up in the morning to loud walking upstairs back and forth for a while. I could also hear it when I was trying to go to bed around 11 pm which was a bit annoying as we had been on a 6 hour road trip to get here. Overall, it was not bad as it had a kitchenette which was convenient as we had our daughter who is picky with eating out so we heated up ramen for her. I was unhappy that their gym was not available which I was not informed of until arriving. They were remodeling an area that blocked off that entrance.

Sad to see most of the rooms has been remodeled but yet so much to be done . My first time staying at this location and I’ll think twice going back I usually stay at the Sonesta at 190st. I was very disappointed to get to hotel and they are “ under construction “ no notice on website, breakfast lobby was very different from Photos , I got the 2 bed suite beds were so small, under sink it was leaking, front door always stuck Front door, fresh paint on cabinets that it got on my brand new clothes and jacket, no water for hours on Saturday, maintenance staff entered my room without knocking, bbq was so dirty I spent more time cleaning it then cooking and list goes on I feel bad to say it. The location of the hotel was the most what I like it about it

Areas of large dark dark dark dirty deep stains on pull out couch for sleeping, chairs, lazy chairs, carpet. The outside ground is cleaner than inside carpet. Non smoking room had STRONG CIGARETTE SMELL. Horrible! No house keeping service after 3 pm. No room service.

Rooms are spacious. A little outdated and heavily used. Breakfast options are minimal.

Clean and felt safe but had a weird smell. I also needed towels one night of my stay and no one answered the bell after 10 minutes I gave up. (We were gone from early morning until after 10 pm). I attempted to call the front desk from our room but it was always busy.

The service was great; however, the property is going through renovations and it was noisy at times. The parking lot was full of construction materials. I had reserved a 2-bedroom suite, but due to renovations, was given 2 1-bedroom suites.

First of all, neither Hotels.com nor the hotel told us that the lobby and dining room were under renovation and check in and a grab and go breakfast area was set up in a small side room. We were expcted to bring our brerakfast back to our room where there was not 2 chairs that we could sit together in. The room was clean but the furniture was in poor condition. Chairs were ripped, fake leather torn. When we came back to our room in the evening, we discovered that there was one remote which did not work with with either TV. It took us two requests to have them replaced the next morning. The trash outside was overflowing and was being eaten by oposssums which was scaring the kids. It took us two requests to have the outside trash emptied. The following day, the trash was in the same condition even though I spoke to Lisa, the manager. When we were checking ou we went to the makeshift lobby to break a $20 bill so that we could leave a tip for the maid. ( Our perspective is that, no matter what the condition of property, the maids do not make a lot of money and they clean up after us). We were told that they normally do not give change but that they would make a 1 time exception. When we explained that we were trying to leave a tip, they were surprised. Never again.

Torn ratty furniture, hotel under construction adjacent to my room, roaches, front desk closed, key didn’t work, construction workers living there and clearly not happy.

Remodeling during our stay done the right way, clean and quiet. Great place to stay and the best part DOG friendly..highly recommend....
