This has always been my husband's and my favorite stay in Bloomington/Normal. This stay, I definitely noticed the hotel's age. The tile's grout was dingy and the bathroom was not as clean as normal (hair on the floor when we checked in). Also, when I checked out and dropped off my keycard at the front desk, the worker at the desk never even looked up and made eye contact with me even though I spoke to her. It definitely felt rude. We will still probably make this hotel our first choice, but I am hoping that they work on an update.

The staff was very friendly and it was mostly a lovely stay. The only complaints were that the room was very cold and heat didn’t work well, and the soap gave my partner a rash
