Very clean, great jacuzzi.

One of our favorite motels in Fortuna. The rates are very reasonable.

The rooms are quiet & clean. The bed was really comfortable.

Not sure why this hotel came so highly rated. This place was run down and the rooms were in bad shape. It’s one of those hotel rooms that just by the look of it made us immediately check for bed bugs. Glad it was just a quick stop for sleep on a road trip because it was incredibly disappointing for a “boutique” hotel. The breakfast was mid and the shower was gross. I will give them credit for having free EV charging. That was a nice perk. Everything else was not good.

They don't clean the room and put a clean towel and because I left a box of cigarettes they thought we were smoking inside and they took $250 from my bank account

Its pretty, but in a drug infested area next to a truck stop. People were in their cars all night...I asked to check out early to avoid further conflict with suspect people around the rooms, the owner denied so I left anyway to get a nice clean room. Privately owned, stay at a corporate room around the corner if you have kids and don't want to deal with night crawling zombies

The website claims they treat guests as "treasured friends," but charged an additional $25 to my credit card for seemingly no reason. When I called, I was told that housekeeping reported two towels and a bathmat missing, to which I replied, "Um, what?!! That's completely wrong. There's been a mistake." This is the point in the conversation when I expected the staff person to reverse the charge and thank me for following up. Instead he told me his manager would call me. At my work, when someone says there's been a mistake on their account, I believe them. Twenty-five dollars matters, and so does someone's word. I'm returning to the area in a few months and have already booked the property next door. Watch your credit card transactions if you stay!!

It’s a quaint place. They did some updates but unfortunately the room we stayed in had a broken hook on the door and cracked mirror. There wasn’t lots of storage for items unless you placed them on the shelf or hung them on the hangers. The place is charming but for a long stay it didn’t provide much for our items we had with us. Also, we could hear everything so maybe the next remodel they can work on soundproofing the rooms as well as making sure there are no air leaks on the door. We were able to smell chimney fire smoke during some nights.

Room smelled like wet dog, had mildew stains on the bathtub caulking, had exterior furniture for interior use. Such as plastic chair for desk and metal table and chairs for dining. Came home with everything smelling like the room. No one serviced the room and we had to daily ask for coffee and cups. I could go on but I think I’ve made my point. Will never stay there again
