I booked a room for a quick in and out at Best Western Jasper. I know hotels like this aren’t the cleanest so I always bring my own sheets, towels, and disinfectant sprays and wipes.
I got charged $50 for alleged room damage which they said the damage was missing towels. I never use a hotels towels.

The AC kept the room cool, we keep it at 76 normally, but it was so humid in the room that in the morning the painted floors were entirely wet from sweating. There’s no way they wouldn’t know this. The cleaning lady would have to mop it up. Mold/mildew was growing on the bathroom door frame. It’s probably an old motel 6. We didn’t ask for a reduced price and weren’t offered either but they were fine with us canceling the second day and moving to the Holliday Inn Suites down the road. A much better place.

The property here is not very well maintained. Our AC was not working properly, our floor was literally condescending when we woke up. There is mold growing in the corner of the bathroom. It’s not worth the money. Staff was friendly though.

The property needs to be updated. The paint on the walls wasn't the best nor was the fit and finish in the bathroom. Other than that a decent hotel for someone on a budget.
