The room was fine when we first got in the next morning I found two broken finger nails, One in the bathroom and another one in the table. there was no hot water and water all over the floor the shower curtain would not stay in the tub

Nothing unique. The first thing I noticed in the room was a large ball of hair on the couch in the sitting room. The tv in the bedroom didn't work. Ice cream was in the freezer that melted everywhere. During the night the hurricane came through and the bedroon floor was flooded. The rain was coming in at the molding because the stucco was cracked on the outside. We didn't even stay for the second night. It was a nightmare getting home right after the hurricane but no way were we staying.

I was charged for a room WE DID NOT USE bc the hotel was short staffed and completely out of electricity. I feel like I’ve been robbed of my money and after over a dozen phone calls, I still have not received a refund. This whole thing is a scam and I will be opening a civil suit over it. Shame on Expedia and red roof for taking advantage of hurricane victims.

Looking for refuge from Hurricane Milton. Made online reservation with Expedia A.M. 10/11 and paid non-refundable reservation. Arrived at hotel P.M.10/11 to find NO POWER and NO WATER. Clerk said she could not check me in. Expedia said this hotel had amenities such as power and Wi-Fi and water. Refund refused by Expedia. Said they informed me of no power at time of booking but my itinerary does not mention any such thing. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

There was no prior notice to my arrival that the hotel had no power. Never checked-in and was told to handle the cancelation on my own due to being bookee through Expedia.
