Cheap,clean,safe No healthy breakfast choices

We just needed a place to lay our heads for the night. Room was clean and hallway quiet.

This is a very basic hotel. It’s clear that some renovations were done here, but they were rushed. Initially, I was going to give it four stars, but after experiencing the breakfast, I firmly decided on three stars, and even that feels generous. The Biggest Downside - Breakfast: Breakfast is absolutely subpar. There's nothing hot offered at all. There's a juice dispenser and a coffee machine, but the coffee-whether regular or decaf-tastes like dirty water. It's not coffee, not even close. Additionally, there are small muffins, but they were underbaked, and that's about it. Guests coming down for breakfast are left bewildered, asking each other, "Is that it? Is this really all there is?" I can't imagine how the hotel can even claim to provide breakfast as part of the stay when this offering can't be called a proper breakfast. After checking out, we immediately drove to the nearest restaurant to have a proper meal before hitting the road. It's simply outrageous. In the lobby, there's a luggage cart available, but if your room is on the second floor, you'll have to carry your belongings up by hand because there's no elevator for the cart. The cart is only useful for guests staying on the first floor. The bathroom lacks towel racks, except for one located five steps away from the sink. You have to wash your hands in one place and then walk those five steps to grab a towel to dry your hands or face. The large room space is poorly utilized. There isn't enough furniture

Convenient location, comfortable beds and I loved the fact that the floor in the room was not carpeted. The breakfast was a joke. They should call it snacks instead. But overall, good for the price

The room was great - large, clean, quiet. The area wasn’t great. Very cramped parking lot with a lot of people loitering around. The front desk clerk was helpful and our fur baby staying for free was an added bonus!

There are gas stations and restaurants within 1/4 mile of the inn. It has easy access to highway 77 also.

We booked here because the hotel had a good rating and it met our expectations. The room was quite clean, the shower was very nice and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was minimal but we found toast, muffins, cereal, and some fruit, more then enough for a freebie!! The coffee was very good as well, and the check in clerk was very friendly as was the check out clerk in the morning. I would recommend the hotel and also stay here again.

So I judge a property by what it is and how much it is. For a value, this Red Roof cannot be beat. Red Roof is one of those chains and is either hit or miss, and most of the time in my experience it has been a miss. This Red Roof was a hit. The desk staff was very nice, the room was very clean and well kept. The usual excessive wear and tear I see at most Red Roof was not here. Everything was in good shape and you can see that they worked to keep it in good shape. Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. The only things I can say that were negative are that the towels are really small and there is no shampoo and soap dispenser. But hey, at this price if that is my biggest complaint, I'll deal with it and when I come thru that way again, stay here agian.
