We had requested a queen size bed but given the double size bed. We then requested at least a room with two beds, we were told there were no rooms available even though there were 6 rooms showing on Expedia for the same location. The shower had barely trickling water. Seems like the room was initially set up as retirement home, which had a large washroom but a very small room overall.

My wife and I have stayed here before when we visit family in the area. As usual, all was good.
My only complaint is that the TV was very hard to turn on.
I had the desk person change the batteries and still the
tv would not turn on except with difficulty.

Very nice. Easy to check in and out. Room was very clean. Friendly staff. From Michigan and went to Morgantown, WV. Visited West Virginia University Campus on family business. The hotel was very easy to get to from the highway. Sonesta Essential hotel was great. Would stay there again!!

Check in was super easy and the staff was accommodating and friendly. We had a hiccup about the room but it was resolved swiftly. Good nights sleep, convenient breakfast options, easy and affordable.

Hair on bed sheets. Open soap package in the shower with no soap. Wondering if someone had stayed there the previous night without a cleaning.
No batteries in the remote. No coffee ready in the morning. Toilet leaking from the flange onto the bathroom floor. Not a good experience from what appeared to be a fairly recently remodeled hotel.
