There was an odor in some of our rooms the first week which went away the second week.

This ended up being a great spot to stop as a solo traveler heading from Southern to Northern California on the I-5. It's about 10 minutes from the 5, but a very clean, solid property. It was my luck that there was a huge group that arrived 1 minute before me, but the receptionist took care of them and i only waited a few. She answered all my questions and took care of a few extras later in the evening (tire service in town, TV issues). The room was great: clean, quite soundproof (just distant sounds of doors closing), nice decor, quality toiletries, pretty comfy bed. The breakfast is nice: juices, eggs, sausage patties, Oats, cereals, biscuits & gravy-- all ready at 5:30 to help all of us that have to get on the road. even if things were a bit tepid, still tasty. The gym was empty and nicely equipped but the cleaning wipes were dried. I'd say a great place to stop in Coalinga--a 3-star stopover done right!

Nice new hotel. Great service. Not much in this area but perfect location for getting to our job site.

Nice hotel outside of town. Has a pool, bar and nice facilities. Would recommend if you are in this area.

I have stayed here before and will do so again. It is a great “halfway” layover between the Bay Area and So Cal. The hotel is newer and very nicely furnished. Modern and comfortable with big rooms and great amenities, including an ample breakfast bar. The one draw back is that it’s a bit of a distance to the main part of Coalinga and so food options are not very convenient, but presumably you have a car and it’s an easy to drive to dinner. If you bring food, each room has a fridge and microwave. The hotel also has some microwave meal options and other snacks for purchase, plus a bar and nice common area, so the lack of nearby restaurants really isn’t a big deal.

I thought there was a pool diddnt see one when we got there. Some ants in the bathroom. Ended up leaving at 4 on Saturday n paid up to Sunday morning. Everything was pretty good for a hotel.
