I came to Houston with two other friends and we decided to stay here and nonetheless our stay was a little disappointing. Upon checking in, we checked out the hotel room and it seems that they barely even cleaned it. There were still footprints in the bathroom and hairs in the shower. The comforters had stains on them. Upon further notice, we realized the sink did not run hot water at all, one of the lights in the bathroom also did not work and the mini fridge did not work. I went and told them only about the sink, light fixture and fridge and was told that maintenance wouldn’t be in and that since I booked through expedia, I would have to contact Expedia and Expedia would have to contact the hotel in order for them to give me some sort of refund/discount. Well Expedia tried their best and were not able to obtain an approval from the property about a refund/discount. I did not bring up the minuscule things as we had bigger things to worry about but now seeing that nothing can be done, I am now mentioning it. We are so disappointed… If it wasn’t for all of this, we wouldn’t have minded staying here again in the future…

Found 1 small cockroach in room; front desk clerk cat called to me. Twice. Once as I was leaving then as I came back. Very weird. Overheard employees complaining about management not hiring enough kitchen staff. In the back of hotel a person was fixing thier car.

The property and staff are awesome but the area that the hotel is located looks a bit sketchy, to be fair most of Houston looks like that because of the homeless problem.
