I had a terrible experience at Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport. I checked in on November 3, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. to Room 405. Just after midnight on November 4, I was locked out of my room with all my valuables inside. I went to the front desk, only to find no staff available to help—just a security guard with no authority or access.
I made multiple requests for assistance and called Marriott’s customer service repeatedly, but no one could help me until morning. I was left stranded from midnight to beyond 2 a.m., exhausted and anxious. I even called the police, who confirmed it was a hotel issue.
With no assistance, I had to call a locksmith, costing me $708. The hotel initially promised to reimburse this fee, only to later refuse. This ordeal showed a shocking lack of preparedness, unreliable customer service, and incompetent staffing. For anyone considering staying here, beware: you’re on your own if you need assistance in an emergency. This experience has left me with zero confidence in the Marriott brand.
