Good stay

I reserved a room with a view. My view was a wall:( When I asked to change the room I was told that the place was all booked and nothing was available. The hotel is on 8th ave and street noise was heard all through the night. Otherwise everything was fine.

Great location near Penn Station. Rooms were clean and relatively quiet. I would not recommend the restaurant there. Also took a while to get checked bags, just plan accordingly.

Walking distance from MSG and KTown

The hotel added the cost of bottled water to my credit card that I didn't use. When I contacted the hotel about the issue I was met with resistance for a credit. After discussing the issue with the manager she reluctantly agreed to issue a credit.

Staff is unprofessional, unsupportive and they charge $948 for I don't know as I left at 8am when check out is at 11am

Chose this hotel for its proximity to Penn Station and to Broadway shows and it did not disappoint. Surprisingly the room was very quiet. No street noise or noise from other guests at all. Climate control worked great, shower had great water pressure and hot water. The rooms are pretty small but it's NYC so you should know to expect that. Our window had no view--just the brick wall next door but I think that helped keep the noise and light pollution down, so no complaints. The front desk staff were very friendly even though they were extremely busy. No problem at all leaving our bags before check in and after check out to maximize time in the city and they also will let you use the restroom at bag drop off and pick up. Breakfast not free, rooms have coffee maker but no free coffee station in lobby. They do give out the traditional Doubletree free cookie. There are plenty of coffee places nearby. The view from the rooftop bar is good so be sure to pop up there to check it out. Had a great stay and will definitely return to this hotel on future trips!
