Room was good to excellent!

Austin has become a very comlex, crowdedand expensive city to visit and and during legislative session a not friendly business town. If you are loking for a clean and friendly alternative to expensive ride share or taxi fares and you're heading to work in or around the Capitol then this hotel fits the bill. Nothing is cheap in Austin, but the Double Tree is just a fifteen minute walk to the complex. A hidden advantage is that you are north of most of the more rowdy areas, like sixth street, yet close enough that your stay will be comfortable and safe. The staff is amazing, ready to help you when you need. Nearby food is awesome like The Texas Chili Parlor, the granddame of cTexas chili. Double Tree is by far a great choice. Getting Hilton points is a plus.

We had a lovely stay at the Doubletree Hilton. Lots of nice and very friendly staff. Their was Ricky who worked the front desk and was amazing to us. Loved staying at this property and will again in the future!

I enjoyed the hotel's comfort, friendliness, and cleanliness. I didn't like that you had to pay for everything. Wi-Fi wasn't even free, so I had to use my hotspot from my phone. In addition, you have to pay for breakfast because it isn't complementary, which should be since you're paying for everything else. I would recommend it again, but I wish they would allow free Wi-Fi and breakfast. It would make it a 10/10 instead of an 8/10 in my book.

Staff was very helpful and the restaurant provided a very nice breakfast. Loved the location.

Outrageous-parking prices. Not enough lighting in bedroom. Wonderful beds with plenty of pillows. Great room but I felt there were excessive charges for everything. Unable to self park. $75 for “incidentals.” Breakfast additional.

Hotel and location was great. Parking was ridiculously expensive.
