Assistant Manager Kenny Ellison is an exceptional member of your managerial staff and helped make our stay a very positive experience. I had my 94 year old mother with me and she was pleased with her accommodations and the kindness of the staff.

The hotel is right downtown and surrounded by restaurants and local attractions. My room was large and comfortable but it needs some minor fixes to make it perfect. The paint on the bathroom ceiling is flaking, the caulking is cracked, water in the shower didn't drain very well, and some of the drawers look very tired. Is it a dealbreaker? Absolutely not but these are an indication of poor maintenance. My room was cold and the thermostat wasn't working. I was offered another room but I opted for the space heater and an extra blanket (I was perfect after that).
What made the stay lovely was the staff. They were extremely kind, understanding, and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Breakfast biffet they advertise was not good at all and not a big selection. Hotel elevator system was confusing at first. Rooftop was closed. Rooms were decent.

I posted a review the day after we arrived at the hotel, and I would like to say---Kenny, the General Manager, is the BEST! He made sure that our stay with Hampton Inn & Suites was enjoyable! He went above and beyond to make our stay better. Yes, there were some issues, but Kenny took care of them and our stay was better. The layout of the room is great. Thank you, Kenny!
