The customer service by each staff member at the check in counter was above and beyond. They were friendly, accommodating and personable and went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. It was nice to see pleasant, professional staff at an establishment. We Would stay here every time.

Hampton Inns are our go-to places to stay when we travel in the US. This one is excellent…not fancy but clean and modern. The folks at the front desk are friendly and efficient, eager to make check-in easy. And they follow up to make sure everything is satisfactory.

My only complaint which is more of a preference, I had a bad night sleep because the pillows were too soft. I would recommend a mix of pillows from soft to Xtra firm. The shower was fantastic. The location is really good, everything you might want is within walking distance, in what seems to be a fairly safe area.

Staff was helpful. Our room could have used another garbage can. Instructions on making waffles would be nice instead of a worker coming over and getting annoyed about I didn't know what to do.

Staff are particularly friendly! Well kept rooms, and just enough breakfast. Loved that they were dog friendly as well.

Beds were good, HVAC excellent, breakfast above par. I enjoyed meeting and chatting with Mia at reception. Charging $15/night to park was unusual; I understand having a window parking pass so downtown visitors (or RVs) don't get free all-night access, but adding a fee for customer parking is too much. I also suggest that you place large wastebaskets next to the elevators and/or stairwells/exits (we couldn't finish restaurant to-go meals and tiny in-room garbage cans were too small; I had to travel hallway to elevator to breakfast room to find a suitable garbage can). After searching (no signs), I found non-working ice-makers (on floor 3 and 4), reported it to front desk, and was told I could come down and they would fill my ice bucket. Really? Not cool. Passing by registration later I mentioned it, and was told it would be reported to maintenance.
