The people at the hotel could not have been nicer. We’ve never traveled with the dog before and the staff made it very easy.

Beds were very comfortable, love the size of the TV.
Home fries could have been cooked a little long. Me personally would prefer bacon.

The stay was wonderful. However, the check-in process was terrible! When I got there the lady working the front desk was very welcoming. When she realized she could not find my reservation, her welcoming demeanor became condescending and rude. She stepped away from the desk and went into the back room for 2 minutes before returning to tell me, “You have to call and deal with Hotels.com.” No empathy whatsoever! I chatted with Hotels.com and they said they tried to call the hotel but no one answered. They asked me to ask her to answer the phone. She did and then hung up on them. I received another text from Hotels.com and they told me it was handled and to go back to the front desk. I did and she snapped at me that the reservation wasn’t confirmed. I told her they told me to come up and she said to tell them to, “stop lying.” I walked away and sat in the lobby about 5 minutes later she hollered at me that the manager was working on it and it would be “6 more minutes.” After about 10 minutes, she called me to the desk to finish checking in. She was rude. She didn’t share any of the “typical” information I heard her sharing with other customers. This was a situation out of MY control. The hotel room had been paid in full. We have stayed at Hampton Inns all across the country and have NEVER been treated so poorly as we tried to navigate a problem that didn’t involve us. I’m not sure if she thought we were trying to pull something over on her but her behavior was uncalled for.
