One elevator not working, other was not functioning properly. Outdated appearance overall property. Aside from that I always stay here when visiting Mesquite.

The lady who checked me in was quite snippy, rude, and less than helpful. It came as a shock that parking is $10 per night. I don't know what that was supposed to pay for. I never saw any security, and that fee was nowhere on their Expedia information, I double checked. There was only 1 elevator working and it sounded like it could break at any time. It smelled like burnt rubber inside the elevator every time I had to ride it. Just exactly like a belt slipping. I literally took the stairs several times because I was afraid to get into the elevator. While I felt safe in the room and the bed was very comfortable, it was part of a connecting room, which I didn't know at check in. Traveling alone as a single, older woman, I would have preferred not to have a connecting door. I also only drank bottled water there, as either dirt or rust ran out of both the bathroom sink and tub faucets every time I turned them on. My pillowcases had stains on them, tho they smelled of bleach, and I could hear every time any of my neighbors flushed or ran the showers. There was also a lot of road noise all night, even tho I was on the inner, pool side of the complex.
