Dolphin Research Center offers several presentations daily demonstrating the dolphins’ high flying athletics, dolphin education fun facts, dolphin research, new behavior training, medical behaviors, and much more. The Marathon Dog Park in Marathon, FL Middle Florida Keys just opened in January 2010. The whole site is a bit over an acre and includes a separate area for dogs up to 35 pounds in size. There's adequate shade for hot, sunny days and lots of room for dogs to run. Right now, there's access to water outside the restrooms. There is no fee charged to use the park. The dog park is part of Rotary Park, across from the Marathon airport, near Leigh Ann's Coffe House. There is a children's playground separate from the dog park at this location.
