The Automatic is open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., serving lunch, dinner, and late night snacks. Pet-friendly Red House is located right in Harvard Square, in the earliest settled section of Old Cambridge. Originally built in 1802, it sits atop a retaining wall that dates back to 1634. In addition to the dining room located in the historic house, there is beautiful pet-friendly canopied outdoor patio area where you and your best friend can dine al fresco in style. The Red House features raw bar specials every day (including two oysters for $1 from 12 to 5 p.m., then from 9 p.m. to close—count us in!!), and killer menus for lunch and dinner. Some of our favorite offerings include Pan-Seared Sea Scallops with Smokehouse Bacon & Garlic Sauteed Spinach, 5-Spice Roasted Duck Breast, and Lobster Carbonara. Located in the pet-friendly Charles Hotel, Henrietta’s Table offers delicious farm-to-table cuisine in a beautiful setting, including their dog-friendly outdoor seating. This local institution has been serving up its famous double cheeseburger for more than 40 years (but we also love their homemade crabcakes and Lobsterburger!).
