Alamo Ice House is a tribute to Live Music, Sports, BBQ & Brew. The gravel-filled, pet-friendly patio has several picnic tables, fire pits, a handful of lawn chairs, globe string lights and a few games of washers, but the highlight is the stage. They have several beers on tap and there are plenty of bottles and cans to choose from, including Austin Eastciders, Lone Star and REKÕs pils. There is a small, but suitable menu of barbecue sandwiches, tacos and sides.
Dogs welcome on the patio. Cooking it fresh and just a little healthier---digging down a little further south to serve up the
best empanadas in the free world.
Shaded seating in a wooded nook set well back from the road. Mexican food. Reasonably priced. There's also shopping, a little gardening center and other things in the area!
7 1/2 acres of off-beat location. Dogs are free to roam the area as long as they are well behaved. We offer lots of water, treats and they can even take a nap on the chair. Dogs have even been spoted on the 1887 dance floor.
McAllister Dog Park is in McAllister park. It is a huge people park with a very special place for humans to let their dogs off leash. The dog park portion has ample parking and doggie waste pick up supplies. The enclosed area is partially shaded with seating and a couple of picnic tables. Dogs must have vaccinations/tags. If you google McAllister Dog Park + San Antonio, you can find directions. It is convenient for most travelers as it is close to the airport. Humans who don't have internet access and need directions are welcome to give me a call.
I don't know the exact name of the park but there is a dog park on Old Pearsall Rd. in San Antonio, TX. They have an enclosed area where dog owners can take their dogs off the leash and let them run around. There are ramps and such for the dogs to play on.
This restaurant/bar/music venue/car-wash/laundromat has great organic food, an immense beer list, fun music especially on Fridays when the the local family band led by the 13 yr. old daughter plays country music , and a terrific outdoor seating area. Music can be loud inside, but outside at a picnic table is perfect for you and your dog. Also very kid-friendly.
