Charlotte Motor Speedway is a pet friendly motorsports complex located in Concord, North Carolina. The complex houses a 1.5 mile quad oval, a 2.4 mile road course, a dragway, and a dirt track. It opened in 1960, and held the first NASCAR World 600 in June of the same year. Nowadays, NASCAR uses the Speedway for its Monster Energy All-Star Race, Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series. The facility is also famous for hosting the ARCA Racing Series, the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, and the INEX raceCeiver Legend Car Series. Fans can’t get enough of Charlotte’s awesome races, but they also line up for events like the Exotic Car Show, where the finest Lamborghini and Bugatti automobiles are put on display. Pet owners love the speedway for its pet friendly camping accommodations, and because it hosts DockDogs Big Air at the AutoFair. Dock Dogs is a world renowned aquatic canine competition, where trained dogs compete in events like Big Air and Speed Retrieve.
