Gateway Motorsports Park is a pet friendly track located in Madison, Illinois. The park houses a 1.25 mile oval track and a 1.6 mile infield road course. Originally named St. Louis International Raceway Park, this facility has held classic, asphalt racing events ever since its opening in 1967. Nowadays, Gateway is famous for hosting the Verizon IndyCar Series, NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series, and the NHRA’s Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. Die-hard racing buffs flock to Gateway for these events as well as the Porsche Club Driving Experience, Formula DRIFT Practice, and the St. Louis Speed Festival. They also love the park’s Kartplex, a go-kart course where teams race head to head at high speeds. Gateway is great for speed lovers of all kinds, even dog owners!
