Loved the location in a quiet residential area away from the crowds. Definitely the most pet friendly place we have stayed without having to give up the luxuries you often do for a pet friendly stay. The dogs are even pampered with bowls, towels and treats! Perfect area to walk them along the canal across the street from the inn. Within walking distance to the main street and great restaurants. Definitely will be returning now that we have found this gem!

I used to work at Hilton Inn. I know how to clean a room and what a clean room is supposed to look like. I was very disappointed. My shower head and drain were brown instead of the original silver it should be. My towels has brown stains all over them. My shower trickled water like a leaking hose. No pressure at all. Basically a drip for a shower. And that alone makes me give this place a negative 0. If I can't properly clean myself especially after the beach then it's a 0 for me. And I know it's not a hotel but there's a policy to keep the noise level low from 10 to 8 am . This is a beach town stuff don't start happening until after 10nand then you have to creep in your room. It was not a pleasant stay at all. And last even though there is a stain glass window it is see through pretty much from outside. I could see one of the other occupants standing bare chest at the sink from my car on the bottom floor room. I had to put a towel up to mine. ONLY GOOD THING WAS IT WAS A 15 MIN WALK TO THE BEACH SO I DIDNT HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING AT THE BEACH. NOT FOR EVERYBODY KIND OF PLACE IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. CHEAPER ISNT ALWAYS BETTER. SHOWER HEADS AND DRAINS DONT COST MUCH TO REPLACE. THROW AWAY BROWN NASTY TOWELS. CALL A REPAIR MAN FOR YOUR WATER PRESSURE. NO STAFF ON SITE EVER TO COMPLAIN. NONE

Close to downtown - the main section where many shops and restaurants are located (Rehoboth Ave). Very clean and staff very pleasant. Wished there was a tub, but they are rare these days. LOVED the french doors that opened to the balcony with the tall Adirondack style beach chairs.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Canal side Inn. So did my furry companion Frankie, who was well greeted by the owners and other pets alike. Guests were equally friendly, those with 2 feet. The room was lovely for a single traveler and dog. It was especially nice being in a residential neighborhood with the canal right outside the doorstep, lovely scenery, easy walking distance to Rehoboth Beach Perfect four-day vacation to clear the mind with easy access to all that you would want in Rehobeth.

Room was clean and comfortable on a very quiet street but walking distance to coffee and restaurants. Great place to walk the dog. Only downside was that room had hard floors with no rugs so sound really traveled. I could hear every coming and going in the hallway.
