Even though the place was jammed, clerks were great, light hearted and got us into our room( w the dog ) in a few minutes. Very grateful for a place to land that late in the evening!

Excellent staff, nice place. Stephanie was even nice enough to braid my wife's hair for her. Very much appreciated. Would recommend.

The hotel manager, Nathan Oshiro and his staffs Noel and Dakota are doing excellent in their assigned positions with confidence and professionalism, especially Nathan, he is handling and try to assist and resolve my issue within company standard policies. He analyzed my situation patiently and with understanding which make him an effective and excellent manager. Thank you.

We needed a last minute hotel to fit a basketball team and were pleasantly surprised by Red Lion Inn. Clean and well run, with friendly staff.

The Red Lion is a pretty big hotel in Eureka. We made it our home base for our trip to the Redwoods. I liked that it was close to a lot of things and walkable to restaurants and Target. The exterior is the hotel is pretty run down and quite a bit of unhoused in the area. My keycard frequently stopped working and I had to visit the front desk quite a bit to have them reset it. I forget her name but the lady started to recognize me and was so helpful and nice every time I came by with my card or requested extra sheets for the sofa bed. We had the family suite and it was spacious and clean, I appreciate the two sinks, it made for getting ready in the morning a lot faster. It takes quite a bit of elevator rides to get to the family suite but we managed. Many of the ice machines throughout the hotel didn’t work. Water in the gym was not available. Breakfast was fine. It was a basic continental breakfast, but with so many other chains offering hot proteins and waffle machines as a standard for their complimentary breakfasts, it was a bit disappointing to see that a large hotel like this couldn’t make the extra effort. They do offer hot dishes through their restaurant for an additional charge.

Awful beds, dirty property. Old equipment. Hotel looks like it hasn’t been updated in 30 years. Wallpaper peeling in areas. Stains. Aging televisions. Fentanyl zombies wander the unfenced parking lot at night.

Breakfast on Sunday morning was not good had muffins cups of oatmeal you had to add water. Green bananas ,toast or bagels not very appetizing. It was a 1 for effort.

Staff was good. Breakfast was okay.

Check in was flawless and simple. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the amenities within the room, such as coffee and TV. Room service and house keeping were friendly and amazing.
