Enjoyed our stay.

Staff was friendly and room was clean with comfortable beds. They towels were plush and the shampoos, etc. were Crabtree and Evelyn which was nice.

We have stayed here a few times on our travels to Florida because it’s dog friendly, you can walk around with your pet and feel the love for animals here! But this time was quite disappointing! Our toilet was plugged, one of our queen beds smelled gross! The beds have cover sheets on them I’m sure because of pets which we do travel with but our pets haven’t had accidents since they were puppies and they are 4 and 14yrs old! Anyway…when I went to get into one of the queen beds at night it smelled like dog feces! So bad I couldn’t even sleep in it! The cover sheet wasn’t as white as the other bed but I just figured they get alot of wear?! I can’t say the cover sheet wasn’t washed I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt but what I think might have happened was when they washed the sheets there could of been dog feces on another article of laundry and that’s where the smell came from? I did contact the hotel, they reached out to ask me more info but still haven’t heard back from them! Hotel rooms could really use some updating…very old and worn out! The main lobby area and bar/restaurant area is very nice though. And our dogs loved the large area outside to play and run around!
